Service with Passion

OUR WORK

We are an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards and build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians, in more than 160 countries unite in this effort.

Our membership is a cross-section of local business and professional men and women. Clubs meet weekly and membership is open, by invitation, to individuals who hold or retired from a professional, proprietary, executive, or managerial position and live or work within the locality of our club or surrounding area.

OBJECTIVE

Service is our main objective in the community, workplace and throughout the world. We develop and execute projects that address today’s most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, literacy and violence. Our motto is: Service Above Self.

We encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

· The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;

· High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

· The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life;

· The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship united in the ideal of service.
